In 2008, the second generation of the Alphard made its debut. Alongside this model the company introduced the Vellfire, a new model based on the Alphard but with more sporty styling and aimed at a slightly younger market. Like the Alphard, the Vellfire is offered with a choice between a 2.4 or 3.5-liter engine, accommodating either 7 or 8 seats. Additionally, drivers can opt for either front-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive for enhanced versatility on the road. The 2.4 cars have an official fuel consumption in Japan of 32.8MPG so are very efficient. This 8 seat 2.4 Vellfire has covered just 48K miles.
